FRONTLINE:
NO Frontline this week! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
THIS WEEK: NO, NO, NO U-TURN!
Take a triple trip to Tryptophanville down the road from Turkey Town, Texas! That’s right young turkey lovers, take this Saturday night to be with your families. We will not have U-turn this Saturday! See you the first Saturday in December!
Clothes for the Cold
Many in our community are in need of warm clothes for the winter, but there is also a need for all types of clothing. Our friends at Thriftsmart are expecting unprecedented demand this season as the economic troubles impact the less well off most. Throughout the month we are collecting clothes to give to Thriftsmart and they will give us gift cards that can then be given to needy families to use in their stores - a double blessing. Please check your closets and bring in whatever you can on Sundays so that we can meet real needs in our community.
Kids’ Daily Life Journals
New Song Kids is excited to make available Kids Daily Life Journals! These journals were created for ages1st-6th grade.
Daily Life Journals will be available for purchase on December 7th with two cover designs to choose from created here by New Song Communications Dept. The cost is $10.00. We will encourage kids at New Song Kids each Sunday in November to save their money for their Daily Life Journal.
Here are the features:
A team worked to re-word all the text to be kid-friendly, structured the Daily Reading Guide to read in a bigger font to be more user-friendly and added a praying by the scriptures section. Journal pages are divided by fun graphics to make journaling less intimidating and fun.
Parents can help kids determine by age, reading level and comprehension how much to read each day. Younger ages may only read a Proverb or a Psalm each day while older kids would be looking to read along with their parents from old testament, new testament, a psalm and a proverb. Parents will be key in helping your child to use their Daily Life Journal with fruitfulness.
New Song Kids Elementary ages will begin to interact with their DLJ’S each Sunday. So bring them with you! If there is a financial assistance needed in the purchase of a Kids DLJ, please contact Donna Phillips at dphillips@new-song.com for more information.

Please pray that there would be effective enforcement of the law so that the many victims in our own city would be rescued and released.
GLOBAL: While recovering from a recent surgery, Sandra, our partner in Spain, was found to have cysts on her lungs. At this time there is no diagnosis, but there are some indications that they could be from a rare disease called LAM. If that were the case in the natural, the prognosis would not be good, but we know that God is our healer, and whether or not that is the diagnosis, His plans for Sandra are for a future and a hope and we need to contend for complete healing.
