Exciting things are beginning to take place in our Resource Center, and we are looking for a few new team members to volunteer to work in the Resource Center one Sunday a month. As we approach Election Day, the level of uncertainty about the economy, and the increasing division within the nation, are on everyone’s minds.  Pray that the Church as the Ambassadors of the Prince of Peace would be agents of reconciliation regardless of who wins the election, and that she would be seen as the best hope for healing a nations wounds.

New Voices Writing & Visual Arts Ministries Unite

As we embrace a New Way to Live in the context of ministry and community, we—as visual artists and writers—have the opportunity to partner together in a fabulous new project called “Colors.” Join us on Saturday, March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Room 107 of the Learning Center (on the Cool Springs campus) for a combined meeting to hear about the vision of this collaborative project and how you can get involved. Please bring a notebook/laptop for a brief, creative writing exercise. Each artist and writer is also invited to bring one original piece of work to share with the group as we begin to build relationship and foster creativity with one another. URBAN Café

Erin go Bragh! You won’t want to miss our St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Friday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Irish dinner fare will be served, and we will be enjoying some unique Irish entertainment.

Baptism Celebration

Have you recently received Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Now is your opportunity to publicly profess your commitment to Him through water baptism. We will be having a baptismal celebration March 30. If you would like to take part in this celebration and be water baptized, sign up at the Welcome Center in the Foyer. Contact Joel Evrist at 377-8037 x264 for details.

Help for the hearing impaired

If you are deaf or hearing impaired, we have our service interpreted (ASL) during our 2nd service at 11:00 a.m. We can also provide neck loops for those who prefer amplification. For more information, please contact Colleen Turner at CTurner22@aol.com.

Membership Seminar

The next step for those of you who feel that God is calling you to partner with the New Song church family is going through our Membership Seminar. The seminar will be held Saturday, March 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Celebration Room at our Cool Springs campus. Sign up at the Welcome Center in the Foyer or contact Joel Evrist at 377-8037 ext. 264. There will not be childcare.

New Song Christian Academy (NSCA)

NSCA partners with parents to blend the best of home-school and private Christian education for students in grades K-8. We are excited to invite New Song Christian Fellowship home-school families to make application for the 2008-2009 school year.
