New Song Woodbine

CONGREGATIONAL PASTORS:

Ernie & Christin Loera

Welcome to New Song Woodbine!

My name is Ernie Loera; my wife, Christin, and I serve as the Congregational Pastors at New Song Woodbine. I have been a part of New Song since the day the doors opened at Brentwood High School in 1993. Our congregation is located in the Thompson Lane/Nolensville Road area of Nashville, a very diverse part of the city with over 45 different languages and dialects. Christin and I have been pastoring this congregation since August of 2009, and we love it! We would like to welcome you and thank you for coming to see us!  We are so glad you came!

We are very much involved with the community, both with other churches in the area and with other organizations. We are very close partners with the Coleman Community Center, a Metro Parks organization. We partner together in the after-school program they host, as well as in many other community outreaches.

We also have partnerships with the local public schools, serving in their Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) programs as well as in Club Fridays, a program at Wright Middle School that allows kids to do be a part of classes they don’t regularly have access to.

We also partner with local churches through times of prayer and joining together to host and bless the community.  In addition, we also host AA groups in the evenings, Monday through Saturdays. We also house and operate a 2nd Harvest Emergency Food Box Site, which feeds about 80-100 families a week.

We would love to have you come and be a part of what we are doing!  We have a very close-knit community of believers, at the heart of which are our mid-week Life Groups. Come to a Sunday morning service; you will be blessed with strong, celebrative worship and sound Biblical teaching that will both inspire and challenge you to grow.

We hope to see you soon!
