Big Backpack Giveaway - This weekend!

We’re excited to announce that New Song and Strong Tower Church have partnered together to give away backpacks filled with school supplies to Williamson Country students in need for the 2008-2009 school year. Here’s how you can get involved:

This Sunday, July 27, we will be collecting NEW backpacks (filled with grade appropriate school supplies) at all New Song locations. At the end of this post you will find the school supplies that are needed.

If you’d prefer to sponsor one or more backpacks. click here to give online via Paypal and just indicate that your donation is for the “Big Backpack Giveaway.” Each backpack is valued at $15.

On Saturday, August 2 at Liberty Elementary School from 4:00-6:30 p.m., we will be throwing a carnival style party to give away all of the backpacks and school supplies collected. You and your family are invited to attend this fun occasion. In fact, if you’d like to volunteer, we need your help manning booths and handing out supplies. Base 5/6 Day Camp

Registration for kids entering 5th grade through 6th grade is available in the Learning Center. Parent volunteers who can provide transportation and help with hospitality for the camp are needed. Gatekeepers

God calls us to be good stewards of of what He gives. This includes the people in our body and our campus. Recently New Song Cool Springs launched a new safety program called Gatekeepers. Gatekeepers are a team of faithful servants charged with overseeing a safety program at the Cool Springs campus. Keep a watch out for Safety Team members wearing the Safety Team badge during the first service on Sunday mornings. As more Gatekeepers are harvested, the Safety Team will be expanded to second service. For more information on the Safety Team, please contact David Stephenson.

Kids’ Summer Celebration - Last chance to register!

June 10-12 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Come join us for Kids’ Summer Celebration where kids will engage in POWERful worship, hear mind-blowing Bible adventures, enjoy wacky snacks, do amazing crafts and play crazy hyper speed games.

Come on out to our mid-month gathering! June 20 @ 6:00 p.m. we will be heading out to New Song Woodbine to partner with them in blessing their community with “Summer Movie Nights!” Not to mention  we’ll be enjoying the movie too! So join us and make it a night to remember!
