About

Our History

New Song Christian Fellowship was birthed out of a vision placed in the hearts of Dale and Joan Evrist. They responded to God’s call to leave their home in state of California and the church they had founded in 1983, to plant a new work in the Nashville area.

Beginning in March of 1993 the first home meeting was held with only a handful of faithful believers. After six months, New Song launched its first public service as 100 worshipers met in the Brentwood High School cafeteria. As Jesus was exalted in worship and teaching, God visited our congregation in marvelous and unexpected ways. To accommodate the rapid growth, we moved to Concord Road Baptist Church in March of 1994 and then on to our current location in Cool Springs in October of 1995.

The past decade has been a time of continued growth and passion to see Cool Springs, Brentwood, Franklin, Spring Hill, and the greater Nashville area be reached with the good news of Jesus Christ’s love and power.
