Baptism Celebration
Have you recently received Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Now is your opportunity to publicly profess your commitment to Him through water baptism. We will be having a baptismal celebration January 31. If you would like to take part in this celebration and be water baptized, be sure to sign up at the Welcome Center. Weekly Prayer Points
Local: The English as a Second Language (ESL) classes held at our Woodbine campus are beginning again on January 30. Pray that the hearts of the students would be softened to receive the Gospel, that they would respond to the calling of the Lord, that strong relationships would be built between the volunteers and the students, and for an increase of volunteers in this new season.
Global: This past Tuesday, a massive earthquake hit Haiti, killing thousands of people, and demolishing much of the nation. Pray that those who were affected by the earthquake would receive safe shelter, medical attention, food, water and other essentials. Pray for healing in the hearts of those who have lost loved ones, or have not been able to make contact with their families. Pray also that New Song Pedernales, which is near the Haitian border, would be mobilized to be the hands, feet and heart of Jesus to the people of Haiti.

Instrumental & vocal auditions for New Song Nashville worship teams will be held on Tuesday, 1/12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cool Springs Campus. This is for all campuses and Frontline ministry. Local: With the below-freezing weather and icy winds, it can be a challenging and tough time for those who are homeless in the Nashville area. Please pray for the men, women and children who are without shelter, food and water. Pray for physical doors to be opened to them to provide for their safety and needs, and for their hearts to be opened to see God as the Compassionate Father who sees all their needs, and as the Great Provider who will provide for His children.
Global: God has given Tracey Thompson, Missionary to
Kazakhstan, unique opportunities to minister to local prostitutes. Recently, while talking with these girls in a local hotel, men posing as immigration agents came in to take some of the girls and force them to sleep with them, and they tried to take Tracey and her translator until they learned she was an American. Please pray for divine safety and providential care for the prostitutes that Tracey is connecting with. Please pray for wisdom and protection for Tracey and her ministry partners as they continue to seek opportunities to share with these girls the unfailing love and delivering power of Jesus Christ.
