Weekly Prayer Points

Local: Please be in prayer for our Mexico team who left this week; and for our Dominican Republic team that leaves next week. Pray for safe travel, health, team unity and transformation in the lives of those they minister to.

Global: Acts 13:44 says, “On the next Sabbath, almost the whole city of Antioch came together to hear the word of God.” As Paul and Barnabas were obedient to preach the gospel, the Lord met them where they were and the word of the Lord “spread throughout all the region”. Let us come into agreement with the Lord for cities across the globe to come to Christ. Ask the Lord to prepare the hearts of people in cities and villages everywhere to receive the gospel. Pray for a spirit of boldness in your own life as well as in the lives of believers everywhere.

Urban Cafe

Join us June 19 for our next Action Group Night!! More details to come, but mark your calendars and get your aprons ready!  You’re not going to want to miss this evening of laughs, community, and raising support for our missions effort!

Weekly Prayer Points

Local: There are people in your neighborhood that have needs. You may even be one of them, but let us see our needs met through meeting the needs of others. Taking our eyes and attention off ourselves, take some time one day this week and walk the streets of your neighborhood. Pray specifically for each family in each home. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the needs of the people in your area. Then pray for the Lord to meet those needs, asking Him how He wants to use you and your family to meet those needs.

Global: Please pray for our ministry partners in Kazakhstan and for our own Tracey Thompson who will be moving there this year. They need finances to start the building of the Dream Center. This will house several outreach ministries to groups like street kids, prostitutes, and victims of human traffiking. Tracey will be partnering with the Dream Center particularly to reach out to those caught in prostitution, whether by choice or force. These missionaries are our family and need our support in prayer.

Prayer Points

June 8, 2009

Local: As we continue on in our study of the book of Romans, please be praying for divine connections with unbelievers in your sphere. Let this be a time of us as the body seeing what will only be the beginning of mass salvations. People around us have needs and we have the answer. Pray for increased boldness for yourself, for your family, and for those under your leadership. Pray for the eyes of the Spirit to see those around you who do not have a relationship with Jesus.
Global:  One of our husband and wife missionary teams from Nepal and from Mazatlan are here with us for the next couple of weeks.  Pray for rest, restoration, and refreshing while they are here and for divine connections.  While they are away from their family, please pray for divine protection over their daughters, for peace, and for the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
