INSTRUMENTAL  AUDITION

HOPE WORKSHOP

Are there things you just don’t want to think about? Just want to forget them? Let them go? You may or may not have been successful at avoiding those difficult or painful circumstances from recurring in your mind. Are your emotions affecting or controlling other areas of your life? HOPE provides tools for you to process pain, disappointment, and loss so you can live in the present with true hope.
Where: Brentwood Baptist Church
When: April 23-25
Times: Thursday, 5:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Does your place have space for a new face? We have four Student Interns in need of homes – can you help? We have two young women and one young man who are in need of host homes, as well as one young lady who needs short-term housing. LOVE TO COOK?

We are looking for people who have a heart to serve once or twice a week in our cooking ministry at New Song Cool Springs, which provides meals for our Student Interns and Staff. If you are interested, please contact Becky Peterson.

CINCO DE MAYO!

Join us on Saturday May 2 at New Song Woodbine for our Cinco de Mayo Celebration. We are planning a celebration this year that is going to be the best one yet! This event is a unique opportunity to reach out to our neighbors in the Woodbine area and enjoy a day of fun and celebration together.

URBAN CAFE

Urban Cafe will be meeting Friday May 1 at 7 p.m. in the Living Room in Cool Springs.

WEEKLY PRAYER POINTS:

Local: Please pray for the individuals, families and businesses affected by the recent string of tornados. Ask God to pour out His grace, mercy and comfort through the serving hands of the local churches. May we as the body of Christ take every opportunity to be the salt and light He intends us to be.

Global: Two newly converted women along with 27 other women are currently being held prisoner in distressful conditions in a notorious prison detention center in Iran. Please pray for God to change the hearts of the corrupt officials in charge, for the quick release of these women, and for the agenda of evil to be stopped, in Jesus’ name.
