Clothes for the Cold
Many in our community are in need of warm clothes for the winter as well a need for all types of clothing. Our friends at Thriftsmart are expecting unprecedented demand this season as the economic troubles impact the less well off most. Throughout the month we are collecting clothes to give to Thriftsmart and they will give us gift cards that can then be given to needy families to use in their stores - a double blessing! Please check your closets and bring in whatever you can on Sundays so that we can meet real needs in our community

Weekly Prayer Points:
Local:
With Thanksgiving and Christmas soon approaching, let us seek the Lord in this season for what it would look in our lives for us to do without luxuries so others can have their necessities.
Global:
This week at least 89 people, mostly students, were killed when the College La Promesse suddenly collapsed on Friday in Petionville, Haiti. More than 150 people were injured and two homes in a slum behind the school were destroyed. Also, on Wednesday another school in Central Haiti, Grace Divine Primary and Secondary School, suddenly collapsed killing and injuring many. Please pray for those families and friends affected by this tragedy.
