in their relationships, to build
community with other students and leaders, and to eat some
delicious grub!

HOST HOMES
Do you desire to impact the next generation? If so, one major way to have an impact is through serving as a Host Home for one of our Global Boot Campers or Student Interns. See below for specific needs.
GLOBAL BOOT CAMP
We are looking for host homes for two wonderful young ladies from now until late January. You would even get to take three months “off” while they are on their three-month mission trip to Mexico! Upon return, they would need a one-to-two-month stay in your home as they complete the program and transition on to the next season of life. Interested? Please contact Mitch McPherson at mmcpherson@new-song.com or John Hall at jhall@new-song.com.
STUDENT INTERNS
We are still in need of host homes for a couple of our guy Student Interns. They are “low maintance” and “high impact”! Just buy an extra gallon of milk and some
laundry detergent and you’re set. Oh, yeah, they need a bed to sleep in. If you want more information please
contact Debi Kittinger @ 615-293-0787.

Country Ham Festival
Mark your calendars for the Spring Hill Country Ham Festival on Saturday, October 4, at the Tennessee Children’s Home. This year New Song is sponsoring the ‘Farmer-For-A-Day’ exhibit. The Ham Festival is a great way to make connections with our community, so plan to attend for a day full of fun, music, friends, family and ham. The TN Children’s Home is located at 804 Branham Hughes Blvd; Spring Hill, TN.
Membership Seminar
The Membership Seminar is the next step for those of you who feel that God is calling you to partner with the New Song church family. The seminar will be held Saturday Oct. 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Uturn Room at our Cool Springs campus. Sign up at the Welcome Center in the Foyer. Contact Ian Collins at 615-300-6303 or icollins@new-song.com for more information. Childcare will not be provided.
Weekly Prayer Points:
LOCAL: During these times of financial uncertainty, many believers are succumbing to a “hoarding” mentality, rather than giving generously and trusting the Lord for provision. Please pray for a revelation in all our hearts that we must give tithes and offerings faithfully, because in that we honor the Lord, and He who is faithful will provide for our every need.
GLOBAL: Our Missionary in the Dominican Republic, Darla Finocchiaro, has contracted Dengue fever, a tropical disease that is quite serious. Please pray that there will be complete healing and that she will be restored to full health.
